[12:55]<jamer> O.o stupid phone
[12:56]<jamer> camerongray i know what i want to get XD
[12:56]<@BC_Programming> wait can somebody explain why the nick Yurin8R is disgusting?
[12:57]<+Craig> Say it outloud bc.
[12:57]<jamer> sounds like urine
[13:10]<jamer> so i might buy a hybrid drive
[13:11]<@BC_Programming> oh
[13:11]<@BC_Programming> somebody on CH got banned and I was trying to figure out why it was "disgusting"
[13:11]<@BC_Programming> perhaps I just don't have their imagination
[13:11]<jamer> lol
[13:12]<jamer> so the drive i might buy is http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822178339
[13:19]<+camerongray> Even then, It's amusing :P
[13:19]<+camerongray> It's not like it's offensive or anything :P
[13:20]<@BC_Programming> they were very busy doing nothing
[13:20]<+camerongray> Yeah, the hybrid drives are cool but sadly don't have the robustness of SSDs
[13:20]<@BC_Programming> and I'm very busy dealing with a bajillion tons of feedback
[13:21]<@BC_Programming> http://www.reddit.com/r/admincraft/comments/1ffdrf/griefprevention_community_input/
[13:21]<@BC_Programming> I like friendly Admins :D
[13:21]<jamer> its either a hybrid or a ssd
[13:23]<jamer> either or im gonna have a hot swapable drive
[13:25]<+camerongray> Hmm
[13:25]<+camerongray> An SSD would be faster and tougher
[13:26]<+camerongray> Personally I would go completely SSD in the laptop, store any big files externally
[13:28]<@BC_Programming> how long before that guy tells is the HDD brand in CH? any guesses?
[13:28]<jamer> camerongray the dvd drive slot is a hot swap slot
[13:28]<+camerongray> Ahh, cool
[13:28]<+camerongray> You'd be best with just an SSD and a regular HDD
[13:28]<+camerongray> No real point of a hybrid drive for storage
[13:30]<jamer> ok
[13:30]<jamer> so the 64 gb in my main drive and my 320 is gonna go on my hot swap caddy
[13:30]<+camerongray> cool!
[13:31]<+camerongray> BC_Programming: Geek-9pm deserves a reply from you...
[13:31]<+camerongray> "For experts that do not remember HTNL, use and editor like Opera. Use the WYSIWYG mode to make something, then look at the HTML source to see how it was done. "
[13:32]<@BC_Programming> I already saw that reply
[13:33]<@BC_Programming> pretty sure I already covered the problem, lol
[13:33]<@BC_Programming> </tag> not <tag/>
[13:34]<+camerongray> Yeah :P
[13:34]<+camerongray> But we should build websites in Opera :P
[13:34]<@BC_Programming> using HTNL
[13:35]<@BC_Programming> HyperText - Not Language
[13:35]<+camerongray> lol!
[13:37]<@BC_Programming> LOL hopebot
[13:37]<@BC_Programming> just warned me for saying FS
[13:39]<+camerongray> lol
[13:39]<@BC_Programming> Maybe it thought I meant F-Sharp and was warning me for talking about programming
[13:40]<+camerongray> hehehe!
[13:42]<@BC_Programming> PyCharm looks a lot like sublime text
[13:42] * pottsi (Mibbit@pottsi.staff.mibbit.net) Quit (Quit: http://www.mibbit.com ajax IRC Client)
[13:42]<@BC_Programming> then again at a distance VS looks sorta like it using the dark theme

[14:01]<+camerongray> hey pottsi
[14:05]<+pottsi> hey camerongray
[14:05]<+pottsi> how're you?
[14:05]<+camerongray> Good thanks, you?
[14:05]<+pottsi> doing alright thanks
[14:05]<+pottsi> playing with my pi
[14:06]<+camerongray> Nice!
[14:06]<+camerongray> I'm setting up a couple of Vista laptops :P
[14:06]<+camerongray> Got both together for ?40 delivered, fixed them in a few mins
[14:07]<+camerongray> Both Pentium Dual Core - Sony one with 3gb RAM and 250gb HDD and Toshiba with 2gb RAM and 160gb HDD
[14:07]<@BC_Programming> Why Vista and not Win7
[14:07]<+camerongray> Only licenced for Vista
[14:07]<@BC_Programming> Licensing?
[14:07]<@BC_Programming> ah
[14:07]<jamer> camerongray i still got a better deal than you :P
[14:07]<+camerongray> How much was yours? :P
[14:07]<jamer> 50 dollars
[14:07]<+camerongray> Ahh, that's good
[14:08]<jamer> 32 pounds XD
[14:08]<+camerongray> Ahh yeah
[14:08]<@BC_Programming> heh I keep forgetting I disabled Indexing so my Start menu search is crippled
[14:08]<+camerongray> I should be able to sell these for quite a bit each
[14:08]<jamer> if i sold mine i could get 3 times outta it
[14:08]<+camerongray> Yeah
[14:08]<@BC_Programming> I went to find my resume and type "resume" and of course power options came up lol
[14:09]<+camerongray> lol!
[14:09]<jamer> XD
[14:09]<@BC_Programming> I should have called it CV :P
[14:09]<+camerongray> lol!
[14:10]<jamer> apparently camerongray it has a sim slot and a built in mic and the bluetooth is so easy to install its funny
[14:11]<+camerongray> Nice!
[14:11]<@BC_Programming> I couldn't help myself I had to put this in a Cover Letter
[14:11]<@BC_Programming> "I'm not afraid to ask for help when I need it or am in unfamiliar territory, since the alternative is to flail one's arms around wildly and when I do that I get funny looks."
[14:12]<+camerongray> lol!
[14:12]<jamer> MOTHER F***** i just hit my thumb on my e string and it hurt >.>
[14:13]<jamer> and apparently it has a mobile broadband card also O.o
[14:13]<+camerongray> Cool!
[14:13]<+camerongray> That's probably optional though
[14:14]<+Craig> http://twitch.tv/cengbrecht
[14:14]<@BC_Programming> hmm Time to drop my standards
[14:14]<+camerongray> My laptop has the SIM slot and antenna but no actual card
[14:14]<@BC_Programming> that was unrelated to Craig's link...
[14:14]<+Craig> Hahahaha, nice
[14:15]<+camerongray> lol
[14:15]<+camerongray> No posting links!
[14:15]<@BC_Programming> use the forum!
[14:21]<@BC_Programming> "Low battery, Please Charge" - MP3 Player while charging
[14:21]<+camerongray> lol!
[14:21]<@BC_Programming> also I found out I can corrupt the screen at will by pressing the left arrow button on it a tad hard
[14:23]<@BC_Programming> I might take it apart again but I seem to lose a screw each time, and it doesn't have many. If I dropped it, it would probably break apart into it's components
[14:23]<jamer> XD
[14:23]<@BC_Programming> A Lesser or Greater man would have simply replaced it when the Volume Rocker snapped off, taking the inner volume up button with it
[14:23]<@BC_Programming> but NO... that does not stop me
[14:24]<@BC_Programming> I want the volume to go up? I Short the circuit myself... Buttons? PAH! Who needs them when you can short out the trace with a screwdriver?
[14:24]<jamer> XD
[14:25]<@BC_Programming> Sure I COULD Have got another one at the time, but why buy a new one that is larger and more functional when this one can sometimes be coaxed to work?
[14:25]<@BC_Programming> That's right- thousands of reasons
[14:25]<@BC_Programming> But I looked logic in the face and I said NO, I will not fall prey to your whims!
[14:26]<@BC_Programming> and I blazed a path where I used a piece of technology that if I was superstitious I might think simply looked for the worst time to fail
[14:26]<@BC_Programming> like "member how a second ago I said the battery was full I lied plz charge"
[14:27]<@BC_Programming> or "hai plz format"
[14:28]<@BC_Programming> somebody should make a lolspeak OS language translation
[14:28]<jamer> there would be too much confusion after it
[14:28]<jamer> and i think they beat you to the punch already
[14:29]<jamer> http://mail.findbestopensource.com/product/pylolz
[14:29]<@BC_Programming> "hai, windows seez a new drive, you want view?"
[14:29]<jamer> http://speaklolcat.com/
[14:29]<@BC_Programming> OS language translation
[14:30]<@BC_Programming> something built into an OS like the other languages
[14:31]<@BC_Programming> "program has errorz, plz restart kthx bai

[15:18]<@BC_Programming> camerongray: ever used PyCharm?
[15:18]<+camerongray> nope
[15:19]<@BC_Programming> hmm OK
[15:19]<+camerongray> Looks like PHPStorm for Python, same base
[15:19]<@BC_Programming> I think I can get it free heh
[15:19]<+camerongray> aww! :P
[15:19]<@BC_Programming> still doesn't feel right to get stuff free through MVP offers lol
[15:19]<+camerongray> I might be able to get PHPStorm since I'm working on an open source project
[15:20]<@BC_Programming> I mean ReSharper was a no brainer but feels like taking advantage to basically go "send me all your things"
[15:22]<+camerongray> lol!
[15:22]<@BC_Programming> that was actually funny
[15:22]<@BC_Programming> in CH "I keep getting hacked, can somebody help *posts public remote control software link*
[15:23]<@BC_Programming> first step to avoid getting 'hacked' might be to NOT post remote access URLs in a public IRC channel
[15:28]<+camerongray> lol!
[15:29]<+camerongray> Worryingly someone is helping him, not sure whether to say or not
[15:29]<+camerongray> I mean, It's daft posting it in public but a long time ago Nathan said it was okay to remote access :P
[15:57]<jamer> i know my plan of attack on this laptop :P
[16:02]<@Mulreay> Punch, kick and throw?
[16:03]<jamer> down arrow key and hd caddy(replaces dvd drive and is hot swappable) then possibly ssd or better cpu next then what i didnt choose for the last option
[16:04]<@Mulreay> Same thing
[16:04]<jamer> i forgot the battery somewhere XD
[16:05]<jamer> brb as i yell some profainity
[16:07]<jamer> back
[16:14]<@BC_Programming> up up down down left right left right B A Start
[16:14]<@Mulreay> I did that once and got loads of money for free
[16:18]<@Mulreay> If you think about it, the fact that people swear to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth on the Bible is pretty funny.
[16:33]<@BC_Programming> heh
[16:39]<@Mulreay> VERY bright ISS pass for the UK at 02:01... sets alarm
[16:39]<jamer> ive got a telescope :P
[16:40]<@Mulreay> me too
[16:41]<jamer> touche
[16:41]<@Mulreay> This is mine http://img832.imageshack.us/img832/771/20130227115617.jpg
[16:43]<+camerongray> Mulreay: Will I need a telescope?
[16:43]<+camerongray> And what direction will it be?
[16:44]<+camerongray> Ahh south
[16:44]<+camerongray> Hmm
[16:44]<@Mulreay> No telescope, watch from the East at 02:01 it will move from East to West quite quickly.. You will know it's not a plane because it will be very bright and will move quick across the sky without flashing
[16:45]<+camerongray> Hmm
[16:45]<+camerongray> At what sort of angle would it be? I'd have too look out the front of the house from the ground floor
[16:45]<@Mulreay> Over head
[16:45]<+camerongray> And there are houses opposite
[16:45]<@Mulreay> literally right above you
[16:46]<+camerongray> Ahh
[16:46]<+camerongray> Even in Scotland?
[16:46]<@Mulreay> it will start low in the horizon in the East then clime the sky to overhead then set in the West
[16:46]<@Mulreay> yes even there buddy if you have clear skies which you should around that time
[16:47]<@Mulreay> climb*
[16:47]<+camerongray> Hmm
[16:47]<+camerongray> What about from the back garden? Don't want to be "That strange guy standing in the garden"
[16:48]<@Mulreay> As long as your garden doesn't have a roof it's fine
[16:48]<+camerongray> Ahh
[16:48]<+camerongray> I think I'm way overanticipating the angle it will be at thinking the house would be in the way
[16:48]<+camerongray> I suppose it's kinda high up!
[16:48]<@Mulreay> It goes straight over head..
[16:48]<+camerongray> ooh
[16:49]<@Mulreay> If it's as bright as it should be you should see two points of light travelling fast over your head.. that's both the solar arrays
[16:49]<+camerongray> Sweet!
[16:49]<+camerongray> oooh, might see what the battery in the 600D is like, could try the zoom lens
[16:50]<+camerongray> How long will it be visible for? Don't want to miss it pratting about with a camera!
[16:50]<@Mulreay> We get quite a few pass overs in June.. will keep you informed if you miss this one
[16:50]<+camerongray> nice!
[16:50]<@Mulreay> about 2-3mins
[16:50]<+camerongray> Ahh sweet!
[16:50]<+camerongray> Plenty of "How the hell does this camera work?" time
[16:50]<@Mulreay> heh indeed
[16:50]<+camerongray> I miss Hadfield's videos :P
[16:51]<@Mulreay> you may want to do a long exposure to capture it... then you will get the line in the sky
[16:51]<+camerongray> YES!
[16:51]<+camerongray> I know how to do that too!
[16:51]<@Mulreay> best way to image it
[16:51]<+camerongray> Woo, I can even see my tripod under the pile of laptops
[16:52]<+camerongray> If I can find the camcorder charger I could put the SLR on a tripod and film with the camcorder
[16:52]<@Mulreay> It's a great image to capture if you can do it
[16:52]<+camerongray> Yeah
[16:52]<+camerongray> It can do up to 30 second exposure so I have a few shots
[16:53]<@Mulreay> but definately long exposure.. say about 30secs if you can
[16:53]<@Mulreay> there you go
[16:53]<@Mulreay> actually for one shot do about 15secs
[16:53]<+camerongray> Now to do it without waking my parents :P
[16:53]<@Mulreay> heh
[16:54]<+camerongray> I know where the camcorder charger is, but it's under a pile of laptops and wires on a laminate floor and they are sleeping in the next room!
[16:56]<@Mulreay> I would suggest pointing your camera towards the East and waiting for it to light up.. be aware that it will suddenly appear in the sky as it's horizon with the Sun goes down so it won't be visible from horizon to horizon. Ig=f you stand and stare at the East you will suddenly see a light appear in the sky and it will start moving towards you fast then it will dim and go black when it gets
[16:56]<@Mulreay> to the West.
[16:56]<+camerongray> Ahh cool
[16:57]<@Mulreay> There will be other chances if you can't tonight.. just go and watch it.
[16:58]<+camerongray> Yeah
[16:58]<@Mulreay> If you're around when it's about to happen I will remind you
[16:58]<+camerongray> Yeah
[16:58]<+camerongray> I'll take my laptop out
[16:58]<@Mulreay> me too
[16:58]<+camerongray> woo!
[16:59]<+camerongray> Never used my WIFi in the garden :P
[16:59]<@Mulreay> heh me neither
[16:59]<@BC_Programming> hey is there a way to get a log of ALL thrown exceptions from a java program
[16:59]<+camerongray> Hmm, no idea :P
[17:00]<+camerongray> Oh
[17:00]<+camerongray> Use the forums
[17:03]<@BC_Programming> seems using jdb in place of java logs more exceptions
[17:04]<@BC_Programming> Ahh the fun of having to debug four-month-old versions of GriefPrevention
[17:05]<jamer> lol
[17:13]<+camerongray> Oh wow, 3 passes
[17:14]<+camerongray> Mulreay: Would the one at 00:28 still be visible?
[17:14]<@Mulreay> yes, but not quite as bright
[17:16]<+camerongray> Ahh, will go and see if I can see that too
[17:16]<@Mulreay> I did get my west and East mixed up sorry.. West to east.. my bad.. was uploading a video
[17:16]<+camerongray> Practice :P
[17:18]<@Mulreay> Make sure you look to the west
[17:19]<@Mulreay> Never forgive myself now if he looks the wrong way
[17:20]<@Mulreay> OK taking the laptop outside
[17:21]<+camerongray> Cool, me too
[17:22]<+camerongray> Currently camping in the kitchen :P
[17:22]<@Mulreay> I'm camping in the porch
[17:23]<@Mulreay> overcast here a bit but could sneak a peak
[17:23]<+camerongray> Balls, Forgot about the conservatory :P
[17:23]<@Mulreay> !sky edinburgh uk
[17:25]<@Mulreay> not long
[17:26]<jamer> !sky lima ohio
[17:27]<@Mulreay> bit too cloudy here, apparently by 2am it should have cleared
[17:27]<jamer> how is there more daylight at mulreay's than mine
[17:27]<+camerongray> SUPER clear here
[17:28]<@Mulreay> ok get ready
[17:31]<@Mulreay> too cloudy for me
[17:31]<@BC_Programming> well I learned how to checkout a previous git commit so I guess that's something
[17:31]<@Mulreay> will wait till later
[17:31]<+camerongray> Think I missed it
[17:35]<@Mulreay> damn
[17:36]<+camerongray> Not sure where I'm meant to look really :P
[17:36]<@Mulreay> Apparently the 02:01 is the one to watch
[17:36]<+camerongray> cool
[17:36]<+camerongray> no pressure then :P
[17:37]<@Mulreay> heh, there will be LOADS of chances to see it through June
[17:37]<+camerongray> yeah
[17:37]<@Mulreay> Downloaded a new sci-fi series BC_Programming
[17:38]<+camerongray> Good thing about today is that I'm not working tomorrow so can be up late
[17:39]<@BC_Programming> I AM A FISH
[17:39]<@BC_Programming> sorry got nervous
[17:39]<@Mulreay> Are you also a walrus?
[17:40]<@BC_Programming> I would have wrote it 400 times and done a funny little dance and fainted but IRC has several barriers to that
[17:41]<@BC_Programming> you wouldn't see my funny little dance or fainting, and chanbot probably wouldn't like that many caps
[17:41]<@Mulreay> camerongray long exposure of that very pass over from someone random
[17:41]<@Mulreay> http://www.flickr.com/photos/27816965@N05/8918094196/
[17:41]<@BC_Programming> no reference get :(
[17:42]<@BC_Programming> I AM A FISH 400 times... come on! :D
[17:42]<@Mulreay> Yes RD
[17:42]<@BC_Programming> good
[17:42]<@Mulreay> I know
[17:42]<@BC_Programming> you had me worried
[17:42]<+camerongray> Nice!
[17:42]<@BC_Programming> no it wasn't nice I was in a fetal position with worry
[17:43]<@BC_Programming> way to show compassion
[17:43]<@BC_Programming> oh
[17:43]<@BC_Programming> that was about the image
[17:43]<@BC_Programming> well nevermind then
[17:44]<+camerongray> Mulreay: If I sent you a google map of my street would you be able to tell where to look - I know roughly where west is but not sure if I'm correct
[17:45]<@BC_Programming> the position of the sun can be used to judge West and East- little known fact is that the sun sets in the West
[17:45]<@BC_Programming> unless you are on Venus
[17:45]<+camerongray> Yeah, but it's dark :P
[17:45]<+camerongray> DAH! My phone has a compass
[17:46]<+camerongray> Did I bring a charger to my kitchen campsite :P
[17:46]<@Mulreay> and the Sun only sets in the west if you live on the Equator
[17:47]<@BC_Programming> westish
[17:47]<+camerongray> lol!
[17:47]<@Mulreay> camerongray there are some good apps that you can get for free that act as compasses
[17:47]<+camerongray> Yeah
[17:47]<@Mulreay> on ios and android
[17:48]<+camerongray> Need to search the kitchen for a charger
[17:48]<@BC_Programming> you can make one with some iron and a bit of redstone
[17:49]<+camerongray> hehehe
[17:50]<@BC_Programming> Minecraft taught me everything I needed to know about carpentry
[17:51]<@BC_Programming> I do like that though, somebody had an issue with GP, I asked for their other plugins, they had like 50 installed
[17:51]<@BC_Programming> so I got them to temporarily disable one...
[17:52]<@BC_Programming> fixed the problem first try heheh
[17:54]<@BC_Programming> Tux2 is avoiding us gais
[17:54]<@BC_Programming> he's responding to tickets but he's not here
[18:00]<jamer> XD
[18:01]<jamer> so a friend of mine offered me his ssd
[18:04]<+camerongray> nice!
